The 2017-19 Sidewinder/SRX Cold Air Intake was developed to replace the factory intake system, which can be prone to plugging up on deep powder days. The sound is awesome and when backing in and out of the throttle you can really hear the blow-off valve doing its job.

The kit comes with a high-quality silicone hose,Your choice of a CR 2-1/2"x 4" or a 6" air filter cage with a billet velocity stack, high-quality snow sock, clamps and cut template. This kit weighs approx 1 lb less than stock (3 lbs). No fuel tuner is required when adding the intake kit. See it in action here!

Note: The snowmobile in the picture show's our 8" long cage. We have made it available by request with a 4" cage for 2021.

Fitment Notice:
This Cold Air Intake kit is designed for 2017–2019 Yamaha Sidewinder and Arctic Cat 9000-series sleds equipped with the 998cc turbo 4-stroke engine (Sidewinder, Thundercat, ZR 9000, XF 9000, M 9000, and Riot 9000).

The intake will also fit most 2020–2024 models using the same 998 Turbo engine, including Yamaha and Arctic Cat sleds built on the Ascender chassis, however a small modification to the crankcase vent hose may be required.

On 2020 and newer sleds, the factory crankcase ventilation hose routing changed slightly. To install this kit on those models, shorten or extend the vent hose as needed to meet the intake connection.

  • If extra hose is required, supply or request an additional 8 inches (200 mm) of ⅝-inch (16 mm) inside-diameter oil-resistant hose.

  • Secure with supplied or equivalent clamps.

Some later-year Arctic Cat and Yamaha models may also have an extra ABV (air bypass valve) or control hose near the airbox. This line can either be capped or re-routed to an existing vent if equipped.

Always verify hose routing and clearance before installation.
CR Racing is not responsible for improper installation or fitment beyond the verified 2017–2019 models.
