In the 90s, Chad co-founded a snowmobile/ATV rental shop, sparking his interest in customization. Inspired by sled magazines, he developed his own chassis parts, leading to racing and summer breaks spent in race car work.
Attending Jerry Bickel's race car performance school in 2000, Chad deepened his expertise in chassis setup. In 2001, he opened his small shop in Kelowna, BC, focusing on drag racing and engine modifications, earning international recognition.
The market explosion of Yamaha turbo sleds in 2006 propelled CR Racing Canada's expansion. Relocating to a spacious 4500 sq ft building, Chad scaled up operations, crafting top-notch tunnels, suspensions, and complete builds. In 2009, CR Racing ventured into the UTV market, specializing in roll cages and engine enhancements.
Chad's commitment extends beyond business, organizing an annual SxS Rally to unite hundreds and raise funds for the MS Society. His dedication to innovation continues to push boundaries in motorsports.
